Unique Features of Bobcat Park
I love seeing how “playhouses” have changed and adapted through the years. Bobcat Park has altered a bit and has the most adorable play car! Complete with steering wheel, manual gears, gas/brake/clutch pedals and a stoplight, it is wonderful for pretending to drive to the park.
There are two play structures at Bobcat Park. The larger area has so many features built in, especially for climbing. Rope walls, ladders and mazes are the most prominent and a rock wall is on the back side. Once you’re up to the top, there are three slides to choose from on the way down.
Looking for another great park nearby? Check out Jason Park with its incredible structure of high twisty slides!
I loved the nature-themed elements included at Bobcat Park. As shown below, there is a log cabin-like wall to scale, tree stumps to balance across and rocks to climb.
Surrounding Area Highlights
Right next to Bobcat Park is a trailhead for Bear Creek Trail! The trail is 1.5 miles along, ends one direction at Mullen High School and ends to the west at the South Platte River. The option to continue is there, but the trail turns into the Mary Carter Greenway Trail. Check out the South Suburban trails map for more details.
