Loveland’s Dwayne Webster Park (aka “the Cannon Park”)
The City of Loveland has a goal to replace playgrounds every 10 years and in 2019, Dwayne Webster Veterans Park was a recipient! With it’s great location along Eisenhower, looking across at Lake Loveland, it is a perfect place to meet up with friends. If you’re meeting someone from Loveland, don’t be surprised if they call it the “cannon park” though because of the cannon just to the north of the play area. Namaqua Park in Loveland is a Pond-Themed Gem!
Our visit to Namaqua Park in Loveland, Colorado was brief but enjoyable. It was a peaceful location on the west side of town next to the Big Thompson river. I could definitely see us coming back on a warmer day or when we might be able to spot some of the elk that pass through (evidenced by the elk droppings throughout the playground)! Loveland’s Garfield Park (aka Junior Achievement Park) delights!
Did you know that Loveland’s Junior Achievement Park is now called Garfield Park? It is worth knowing both names though because you’ll see this park referred to differently depending on where you look. Regardless of the name, this park was a fun stop in our tour of Loveland and each of my girls would recommend it. The Slide at the Denver Premium Outlets Playground…Oh My!
A little over a year ago, the Denver Premium Outlets opened in Thornton, Colorado. Living nearby, I watched as the signs went up, hoping to see some favorite brands or exciting new stores.
