Last fall, a brand new park opened in Broomfield, Colorado so of course we had to check it out! McKay Lake Nature Play Area is one of the most creative playgrounds we’ve seen! How it all began…
“Hi! I’m Leslie, Leslie Knope from the Parks Department.” I think that’s where it truly began… A television character inspired me and I began to embrace a love of all things Parks and Recreation. More specifically though, four years ago I was about to spend my first summer as a work from home mom with three girls ages 7, 4 and 8 months. I was CLUELESS on how to spend all that time out of school without spending a fortune finding fun activities!
