Arapaho Park in Centennial will Take you by Surprise!
Although this playground is located near E-470 and University, you’d never know that just a few blocks in, you’ll find this incredible park in Centennial! As you’ll see below, Arapaho Park is the perfect spot for your next family outing, including the older kids and grandparents. Swansea Park, A New Favorite Denver Playground!
I have wanted to visit Swansea Park for a while, before I even saw a picture of this fantastic Denver playground! The reason? It was designed by local elementary students in combination with a leadership program called Imagine the Possibilities. I think that this is why my daughters loved it so much – it was inspired by kids their age! There are so many other reasons to love this park. Washington Park Playground Looks Completely Different! Love it or Leave it?
I had heard years ago that we should visit the “boathouse playground” at Washington Park in Denver. Little did we know as we finally made it there this fall, it was removed in September 2018! Apparently, that playground had been built decades earlier and the out-dated wooden structure caused safety concerns. Luckily, we missed all of the construction and found a brand new Washington Park playground completely finished. The reason for my article’s title…many rocks around the park had “Bring our old equipment back!” written with chalk.
