Did You Know There’s A Cave Park in Boulder?!
Call them caves, call them tunnels, call it the “hide and go seek” park…whatever you call it, your kids will love Arapahoe Ridge Park in Boulder! You won’t need all of the fancy play equipment as they will crawl around and through and in and out the whole time you’re there.

Arapahoe Ridge Park Logistics
Address: 1220 Eisenhower Drive, Boulder, CO 80303
Bathroom: Unfortunately, no. If you need a rest stop, there are some fast food options and gas stations available closeby on Arapahoe Ave.
Shade: The rock structure creates shaded areas and caves for the kids. For the adults, there is a shelter with picnic tables.
Age Recommendations: 2 to 8. For the very young, there are baby swings and the sandbox/playhouse area.
Swings: There are no traditional swings at this park. You will find 2 baby swings as well as a disc swing though!
Water Features: None.

Unique Features
What is more unique than this natural rock structure for the kids to climb through and explore?! Be prepared to head to this park more than once if you have a lil’ explorer in the house!
The rubber surfacing helps create a natural feel thoughout the playground. In addition to the rock structure, there is a short slide, disc swing and cone shaped spinner.
Surrounding Area Highlights
Other amenities at Arapahoe Ridge Park include a tennis court, ball fields and large grassy field. You can soak up the mountain views and, on a weekend or summer day, play at the Eisenhower Elementary playground as well!
