Bathroom: There is a portable available a short walk from the playground, by the skate park.
Shade: Yes, the park structure creates a lot of shade and there are also huge trees surrounding the playground!
Age Recommendations: 5+. Aside from a couple swings and the bouncers shown below, the equipment is made for the older (5 to 12) kids. There are high openings on the play structure, as well as a creek nearby, that will keep you on high alert with the little ones.
Does your child love the high slides? Check out Estates Park in Golden. Not just the slides, the views will take your breath away too!
Swings: As you can see from the picture below, the swings are in a separate section of the playground. There are two traditional and two baby swings.
Water Features: None.
Check out those slides! The monstrous-sized play structure definitely sets Memorial Park apart from other playgrounds nearby. There are also many other elements that test your take on heights from the climbing walls to ladders to high bridges.
How about this unique tunnel?! It seems fitting that there are pictures of airplanes, skydivers and hot air balloons as you reach the top.
The Ralston Creek trail is right nearby and provides a great option for walking and biking.
