Our whirlwind getaway to Beaver Creek Resort was nothing short of epic! We may have only stayed one night, but we packed in a full week’s worth of unforgettable fun. From the grand opening of a beautiful nature-themed playground to mini golf, mouthwatering eats, climbing adventures, bouncing thrills, and beyond – we did it all! Creekside Park Grand Opening!

Talk about an incredible nature-inspired playground! This custom-designed play area at Creekside Park is entitled “Birds of Play” with play pods connecting children to the surrounding environment.

One of the features is the Wetlands Play Pod, where little explorers can climb, discover, and learn fascinating facts, like how an osprey travels over 160,000 miles in its lifetime while migrating with the seasons. The entire park is educational, engaging, and the perfect blend of fun and nature!

The Nest Play Pod gives tribute to the Bald Eagle and is home to a towering slide structure with nest area overhead. All of the play areas provide options for all ages with low steps to high obstacles.

We especially loved the hillside slides and climbing opportunities that seemed to continue straight from Beaver Creek ski slopes!

Summer Fun at the Slopes!

The Summer Adventure Center has options for the entire family with miniature golf, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, and gemstone panning. Each of these activities can be found at the base of the ski slopes, providing a gorgeous backdrop and nearby Village fun!

Teens and Tweens Will Love This!

The Hawk’s Nest Cabin is one-of-a-kind and is designed for ages 10 to 18! Known as the “coolest underage club”, this custom-designed retreat for older kids has something everyone will enjoy. They’ll find a ski simulator, arcade games, tabletop games, interactive tech (hello future DJ’s!), and a dance floor. Make sure to try one of their delicious mocktails too!

This is the perfect place for your older kids to enjoy some time with new friends during your visit. It is open daily from 2PM – 9PM, with free admission from 2PM-4PM and $10 admission 4PM-9PM. We would love a place like this in every town so make sure to stop by!

Explore Beaver Creek Village!

During the summer months, the ice rink located in the center of Beaver Creek Village is transformed into an outdoor lawn. There are ping pong tables, corn hole boards, shuffleboard, and FREE concerts every Thursday night through September 11th!

Another wonderful way to enjoy Beaver Creek Village is to grab an Eager Beaver Adventure Guide and complete the scavenger hunt! This experience took us all over, with challenges to solve, life-size art installations to visit (check out those giant goggles!), and there’s even a prize when you’re done.

Dinner on the Patio!

There are many incredible restaurants in Beaver Creek Village and we were treated to a delicious Mediterranean dinner at Citrea. With a gorgeous outdoor patio and nearby music played onstage, it was the perfect end to the evening. The highlights were the sweet corn ravioli, margherita pizza, Italian sodas, and ice cream sandwiches!
