Unique Features
There are an abundance of new, unique features at Fairmount Park in Golden. As you can see below, there is a dome that kids can play in or climb on, as well as unique block steps and rope obstacles.
Also unique are the slides! First, there is the Mighty Descent, a giant slide that can fit multiple kids at the same time. Of course I had to take a trip down with all of my girls and it was so much fun! Also unique is a slide that allows kids to scoot over at the end if they need more time to get off and let the next child come down. This is a great feature for accessibility and inclusive play!
Surrounding Area Highlights
Fairmount Park is home to a large grass field for soccer games, equestrian arena, horseshoe pits, and it has a beautiful view of North Table Mountain. There is also a 0.5 mile walking path complete with fitness stops along the way, making it a great park for all ages to get in some exercise and fun.
