I was blown away on our visit to Fairgrounds Park this summer! I knew that it had a splash pad, but I had no idea that we’d find playgrounds, a fitness zone, batting cages…the list goes on and on as you’ll see below. Plan on spending hours in the area and don’t forget your swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and water! Swansea Park, A New Favorite Denver Playground!
I have wanted to visit Swansea Park for a while, before I even saw a picture of this fantastic Denver playground! The reason? It was designed by local elementary students in combination with a leadership program called Imagine the Possibilities. I think that this is why my daughters loved it so much – it was inspired by kids their age! There are so many other reasons to love this park. The large play structure and zipline are thrilling, the playhouse brings out imagination and role play, and the additional elements will provide a favorite spot for all to enjoy.
