Experience Fantastic Views from this Playground in Golden!

A playground in Golden with tall slides and incredible views?! You might be thinking about another playground we bring up often, Estates Park (link below), but not this time. Golden Heights Park is another fantastic playground! From the top of the slide, your kids will feel like they’re on top of the world. You will love the views, however it is very close to I-70 so it doesn’t have the peacefulness of Estates Park.

Unique Features

So many fun features are packed into this playground in Golden! In addition to the main play structure, there are musical features, spinners, monkey bars and a seesaw.

The large play structure is actually visible from I-70 as you’re driving east – it’s huge! One of the tallest slides has quite the bend in it so beware if your kid is on the tall slide. There are small slides and a large climbing boulder as well.

Surrounding Area Highlights

At the west end of the playground is a skate park with a “quarter pipe, fun box, fly box, rail, and unique concrete wall structure”. (I had to get the official names from Golden’s Park and Recreation website 😉 .)

There is also a full basketball court next to the playground. Check out that view!!
