Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park in Westminster is Darling!
I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write about the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park because it is one of our favorites! As you’ll see from the pictures below, it is filled with all kinds of unique details that young kids will love.
Address: 10765 Moore St, Westminster, CO 80021
Bathroom/Shade: Unfortunately, no bathroom at the park or close by so plan accordingly. There is some shade along the sides of the park and canopies over the picnic tables, however, all of the playground equipment is uncovered and can get hot.

Age Recommendations: Because of the lack of shade and wood chips, I’d recommend 3+. My four year old loved climbing in and around the purple ribbons and the older girls loved the tall slides and spinning features. There were also swings for all with two regular, one baby, one chair and a disc swing!
Unique Features: This park is darling with many unique touches. The dragonfly seesaw and purple ribbons around the park are definitely the first things that catch your eye. The double glider is also unique as you can slide across one and jump straight to the next!
We loved the variety of climbing options, this was not your typical stairs and ladder type of playground! You could climb up leaves, rock climb and the variations of bar ladders provided a challenge.
Most important tips: Remember to check for bathroom needs before you come! The closest options are either 104th or 116th & Wadsworth depending on which way you come in. If you go on a sunny day, make sure you take your sunscreen (this one’s our favorite!) and lots of water.
The circular plaza area is covered with Knock Knock jokes – can you think of anything better for a playground?! 🙂 Do you have a favorite knock knock joke? Comment with it below!
Don’t forget to ask questions here before you go and to come back to the page to comment with your favorite parts of the playground!
