After hearing about an “adorable ship park in Littleton” by more than one mom in the area, I knew we needed to check it out! They were absolutely right, it was wonderful and we are excited to share it with all of you.

Address: 6701 S Broadway, Littleton, CO 80120 (You have to park along Sterne Parkway and walk a short distance)
Bathroom: None available. The closest option is a Circle K across the street.
Shade: Unfortunately, no shade over play structures. There are some good shade trees and 1 covered table for picnics.
Age Recommendations: Ages 2 to 10 would love this park! While the ship is geared toward ages 2 to 5, the play structure has two tall slides and there is a large rope net to climb for the older kids.
Swings: As seen below, there are 2 traditional swings, 1 baby swing and 1 accessible chair swing.
Water Features: None.

The ship-themed play structure is definitely the most unique aspect of Littles Creek Park in Littleton. Situated perfectly, from the street, it looks like a ship is on the water. Your littles will love captaining from the steering wheel, sliding out into the “water” and balancing to avoid the trailing alligator.
The play structure for the older kids is unique in that it has a net bridge across to the rope pyramid. There are two open slides and a variety of methods to climb to the top.
The small lake provides a peaceful location and there is a large field with additional picnic tables and space for soccer, frisbee, etc. Along the path is this beautiful sculpture entitled “Plash” by Tom Latka and Jean Latka.
