Take Their Breath Away at Twin Silo Park

Address: 5552-5564 Ziegler Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528

If you’re looking for the most impressive of Northern Colorado playgrounds, Twin Silo Park is it! The most eye-catching feature is a slide that runs from high in one silo to the bottom of the second. However, the rest of the playground is just as exciting! The large barn roof covers a huge rope climbing area with two-story high bridge, a pole “elevator”, sensory games, as well as a toddler play area. You’ll also find a zipline, monkey bars, many swing options and a nearby creek!

Silver Glen Park, Perfect for All Ages

Address: 23rd Street &, Silver Leaf Dr, Loveland, CO 80538

The playground at Silver Glen Park was recently updated with fun-colored equipment for all ages. In addition to the more traditional slide structures, there is also a hemisphere-shaped climber, long zipline and musical instrument area!

A Little Farm-themed Fun at Windsor’s Cherry Park

Address: 1549-1537 Heirloom Dr, Windsor, CO 80550

Hidden within the Raindance Community of Windsor is Cherry Park, a cute farm-themed playground. For your older kids, there is a slide structure (the bar bridge going across is not for little ones), large green tractor and spinner. The younger kids will LOVE this adorable playhouse (complete with mailbox), cow and pig shaped bouncers, and two parent/tot swings. There is another great park coming to this neighborhood soon so stay tuned!

Aven’s Village, Inclusive Playground for All!

Address: 1300 D St, Greeley, CO 80631

If you’re looking for inclusive Northern Colorado playgrounds, look no further than Aven’s Village! This playground is massive and located at Island Grove Regional Park, across from the Greeley Stampede. The play area is Old West-themed with easy to access equipment, themed rubber surfacing, and musical area. There are two ziplines (one which has a chair seat), large play structure with ramps, spinners, and a four person seesaw. Bonus, not too far away is the Island Grove Park splash pad!

Learn Local History at Sugar Beet Park

Address: 607 9th St, Fort Collins, CO 80524

We love finding unique playgrounds and Sugar Beet Park is exactly that! With its giant sugar beet and small climbable sugar beets, this playground is unlike any other. The park gives homage to the history of Fort Collins with informational plaques about the sugar beet history and the role trains in that area had. It is like visiting an outdoor museum!

Older Climbers Will Love Main Park

Address: 300 Locust St, Windsor, CO 80550

If you have kids that aren’t quite ready to be climbing the structure below, put Main Park on your “wait until they’re a little older” park bucket list. This playground is all about the rope climbing and taking risks! The only way to the slide is by climbing across the enormous rope structure and there is nothing under the two-story high bridge across. If, however, your kids are little monkey’s like mine, they will love it! There is also a long zipline, swinging hammock, disc swing, merry go round and seesaw.

Play and Splash at Archibeque Park

Address: 325 12th St, Greeley, CO 80631

Look at the colors at the amazing Archibeque Park! Previously known as Sunrise Park in Greeley, this park was renamed after former City Council member Charlie, and his wife Laura, Archibeque. This playground is absolutely packed with fun with a variety of slides, spinners, climbers, music equipment and more. There is also a splash pad and full basketball court located here!

Mehaffey Park Has a Waterfall and More!

Address: 3285 W 22nd St, Loveland, CO 80538

One of the largest parks in Loveland, Mehaffey Park will wow your kids for sure! The play equipment has a natural clubhouse-like feel and there are smaller structures in a separate area for toddlers. A waterfall feature runs through the summer months creating a stream to walk through. This is a park you’ll want to stay at for a while so bring along some lunch and meet friends there!

Thanks for joining us at Slides & Sunshine. Now it’s time to get out there and PLAY!

Don’t forget to Pin for later!
