Located in Greenwood Village, SweetPlay is a fantastic place to take your children to play! It inspires the imagination with a 16,000 square-foot extravaganza of good times and exercise, plus climbing walls, ball pit, laser maze, arcade, cafe and candy store! My daughters and I were invited to visit and all they could say was “Wow!” We were immediately drawn to the fun colors and all of the exciting structures, it was a blast for all of us. We can’t wait to check out the second location at Flatirons Mall in Broomfield!
Thank you SweetPlay for sponsoring this article and gifting us the day passes to play!

There is a special section for toddlers, adorably called “Little Land” where all of the features are designed for younger children. There is a swinging carousel, a small turning merry go round, wide slide and a wonderful ball pit area!
The play structures are huge with multiple slides and many obstacles throughout. One of our favorite parts was the “spider tower” (square shaped net tower to the left in picture below) full of crisscrossed bands to climb up or down.
An added bonus to these amazing structures – parents can play right along with their kids!
Everywhere you look, there is another obstacle to experience! From the rings below to the tunnels and high walkways to the three person slide, your kids will be challenged while enjoying every minute.
We absolutely loved the climbing features at SweetPlay! The climbing wall has two options with soft steps and one with hard hand holds. The clear wall allows you to climb while seeing friends run through the play structure.
The other climbing option is what we’re calling the “Climbing Pillars” and it was my youngest’s favorite part! While strapped into a harness, the kids can walk up the pillars, 1 through 10, and then float down (or if up for a challenge, they may try to jump from 10 to 5 😉 ). There was no fear shown as they walked high above our heads!
We love a good obstacle course and SweetPlay has an extra special one with unique challenges, a strawberry zipline, and ball pit to fall into!

In addition to the play features, there is also an arcade and snack bar. The arcade has games you’d expect like skee-ball and claw machines but it also has some unique options like a Hungry Hippo game. Even more unique is the Laser Room. Picture yourself in Mission Impossible as you climb under, over and between the light beams, careful not to touch any of them!
A place named SweetPlay would not be complete without a candy shop! Not only are there bins of your favorite treats, there are also many nostalgic items (ie Razzles), themed items (Harry Potter and Polly Pockets) and so much more.
