The Slide at the Denver Premium Outlets Playground…Oh My!
A little over a year ago, the Denver Premium Outlets opened in Thornton, Colorado. Living nearby, I watched as the signs went up, hoping to see some favorite brands or exciting new stores. What I didn’t expect to see was the “oh my goodness that is way too high” slide and incredible play area! Washington Park Playground Looks Completely Different! Love it or Leave it?
I had heard years ago that we should visit the “boathouse playground” at Washington Park in Denver. Little did we know as we finally made it there this fall, it was removed in September 2018! Apparently, that playground had been built decades earlier and the out-dated wooden structure caused safety concerns. Luckily, we missed all of the construction and found a brand new Washington Park playground completely finished. The reason for my article’s title…many rocks around the park had “Bring our old equipment back!” written with chalk. I have been waiting for the perfect time to visit “Re-Imagine Play” at Paco Sanchez park in Denver, Colorado and yesterday was the day! Just minutes from downtown, extremely close to Mile High Stadium, this is an incredible playground (and best news ever, they’re building it out even more!) 3…2…1…Blast Off at Quail Crossing Park in Westminster!
For all of your little future astronauts, you have got to make a quick trip to Westminster, Colorado! Quail Crossing Park is a small playground in a neighborhood just off of 136th & Huron, but it will bring your kiddos so much joy! WHERE IS IT??
