Fairgrounds Park has a Splash Pad, Extra Playground and More!
I was blown away on our visit to Fairgrounds Park this summer! I knew that it had a splash pad, but I had no idea that we’d find playgrounds, a fitness zone, batting cages…the list goes on and on as you’ll see below. Plan on spending hours in the area and don’t forget your swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and water! This Louisville Park Has a Bit of Everything!
I’ll be honest, I don’t enjoy splash pad parks that much as a parent. I think one of the girls slipped once and maybe I am carrying some irrational fears about the slippery concrete? I’m not sure. It’s also a lot more to plan for…you can’t just jump in the car and go…towels…wet car seats… Anyone else with me? I realized though that I was being kind of a baby about it so I promised the girls we’d find one.
