Have You Been to the Lafayette Chicken Park?!
My daughters and I love Silver Creek Park (or most well known as “the chicken park”) in Lafayette, Colorado! With its adorable scavenger hunt, long zipline and so much more, it is a favorite park for all in the area. Honestly, the only reason we don’t spend more time there is because there is no bathroom 😉 Address: 612-566 Starline Ave, Lafayette, CO 80026 This poultry farm-themed park was inspired by the previous owners of the property, the Nuoci family. Most Unique Playground in Colorado Mountains!
If you’ve been to Vail, you know that it’s more of a destination than a quick stop, but if you do happen to be driving through the mountains, we’ve found a perfect playground to visit! Your kids can have a fun break from the car and you won’t even have to deal with crowded parking garages! It’s a win-win! The park is called Red Sandstone Park and has a style all its own with giant stick figures and clubhouse feel. For all of your little future astronauts, you have got to make a quick trip to Westminster, Colorado! Quail Crossing Park is a small playground in a neighborhood just off of 136th & Huron, but it will bring your kiddos so much joy! WHERE IS IT??
