I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write about the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park because it is one of our favorites! As you’ll see from the pictures below, it is filled with all kinds of unique details that young kids will love. Address: 10765 Moore St, Westminster, CO 80021 Bathroom/Shade: Unfortunately, no bathroom at the park or close by so plan accordingly. Climb the Moon at Star Meadows Park in Erie!
For my science loving 8 year old, this was high on her list to visit once she heard it had a moon theme! The girls loved that they could try climbing the moon, there were moon rocks to spin and a statue near the benches even showed the different phases of the moon. They also thought it was fun following the spiral path to be a human sundial! There was no shade on the playground but there is a large section of covered tables if you need a break from the sun.
