“Oh my goodness, that was a best day ever adventure for our family!” is exactly what I sent to the owner of Treehouse Adventure Park after our visit. It is truly a hidden gem in Colorado that will provide your family with quality time together and a bit of a challenge while enjoying a gorgeous mountain setting!
This article is sponsored by Treehouse Adventure Park, your unforgettable destination for exploring the treetops with variety of suspended obstacle bridges and ziplines! Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you traverse the treetops like never before!
Address: 60117 US Hwy 285, Bailey, CO 80421
Located west on Highway 285, only about 40 minutes from Denver, is this magical place in the town of Bailey. They are open daily until school starts and then weekends only until the weather determines the season has ended.
Safety is a top priority so participants must complete and sign a Participant Agreement and meet the following requirements:
You receive your gear and some training when you arrive from the lovely staff. The double lock safety feature is quick to learn and makes sure you are always connected on the course.
Treehouse Adventure Park has self led ropes courses with built in ziplines, unique obstacles, and even couple treehouses along the way like “Ewok Village” and “Swiss Family Robinson”. We recommend doing the 3-hour booking because it takes a bit of time getting used to the equipment and you’ll love it once you get going!
A series of self-guided challenge bridges and zip lines make up what they call the “adventure park” and are designed to be courses that all start from the same location. Each course has color designation similar to the runs at a ski resort (yellow, green, blue, black) with yellow being the best to start.
There is definitely something to be said about doing challenging things with your family and friends. You learn how to help each other through obstacles, maybe even some fears, and there is a sense of accomplishment at the end of every bridge you cross. We had an absolutely amazing time at Treehouse Adventure Park and I’m already rocking my new hat!
After our time was up at Treehouse Adventure Park, we were ready to relax and have bite to eat! Just across the street was 2 Dads Eatery and Taproom and it had the most beautiful view! Or, for the most unique option in the area, check out Coney Island, the hot dog shaped diner, and the gift shop next door!
