Twin Silo Park, A Farm-themed Playground Like No Other!

If you haven’t been to Fort Collins lately, I am going to show you why your kids will be begging for a trip there soon! Twin Silo Park is INCREDIBLE! I am calling it farm-themed because there are silos and a giant barn structure but that is really where the similarities end. We had never seen a park like this!

Address: 5552-5564 Ziegler Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528

Bathroom/Shade: There is a well kept, large bathroom building as well as water fountains. The kids will enjoy shade inside the silos and in the large barn structure. Parents can sit under trees or along the shade provided by the bathroom building (just in the morning though, until the sun passes overhead). There are also shaded tables for parents under the barn, next to the toddler play area.

Love all the swing options!

Age Recommendations: All, but for very different reasons… For toddler/preschool age, they will find an area to play on the back side of the barn with a short slide and musical features. We also noticed many little ones enjoying the swings – there were 2 baby, 2 chair, 1 parent & me and 2 regular swings, something for everyone!

Not your typical climbing wall!

For the older children, they will absolutely love the twin silo slide! There is a tall climb to get to the start but you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a red/green light to show when the next kid can go down! There are also monkey bars, spinners, and a lot of climbing features.

Unique Features: Where do I begin?! The twin silo slide is the most obvious but there are many other unique features throughout the park. There is a moving elevator, three-story high wooden bridge, a large rope net and the seesaw was unlike any we’ve seen before.

Elevator!

There is a zipline on the back side of the silos and additional play equipment too!

The girls had an absolute blast at Twin Silo park and if it wasn’t for needing to check out more amazing parks in Fort Collins, they would’ve stayed there all day!

What do you think? Would your kids love this park and that super tall silo slide? Comment below!

We’re always looking for our next adventure so if you have a favorite playground (or indoor spot as it gets colder!), comment or send us a note at slidesandsunshine@gmail.com. Thanks for visiting!
