Farm-themed Fun at Westminster City Park!

Just off of Sheridan and 104th, you will find a fantastic farm-themed playground at Westminster City Park! The large barn-like structure and green tractor will delight all ages and you will love the peaceful view of lake and mountains. Check it out the next time you’re in Westminster and make it day with some of our other nearby favorite playgrounds!

Westminster City Park Logistics

Address: 10455 N Sheridan Blvd, Westminster, CO 80020

Bathroom: Yes, there are portable restrooms available.

Shade: No shade over the play equipment. There is a large pavilion with multiple tables, but that area can become busy so it is best to go to this playground early in the day.

Age Recommendations: All ages up to 10, possibly 12, will enjoy this playground! There is rubber surfacing making it easy for the young walkers to get around and a separate (tractor) play structure for ages 2 to 5.

Swings: There is only one swing at Westminster City Park, a disc swing! It was definitely the most popular spot at the playground so your kids may have to wait in line to get a turn.

Water Features: None, however, see the Surrounding Area Highlights section below for information on the pool nearby.

Floor/Surface: Rubber surfacing throughout the entire play area.

Westminster City Park Unique Features

The farm theme creates a unique spot that your kids will love. The open look of the large play structure barn is great because it is easy to spot your children on the other side of the playground. My youngest loves the tractor for little ones because it feels like you’re truly getting on, and driving, a tractor!

Additional unique features are the spinning net platform, bouncing pigs and fireman pole. There are also many different types of slides from a covered tube slide (my 10 year old said it was a tight fit inside so I didn’t try that one 😉 ), a spiral open slide and many small toddler slide options.

Surrounding Area Highlights

The area around Westminster City Park is gorgeous! From the mountain views and wide open grass field, it is a perfect spot to enjoy Colorado. If you’re looking to make it a full day of fun, to the east of the playground is the City Park Recreation Center where you will find a fantastic pool!
