The Arvada Volunteer Fire Fighters Park is one of our favorites because it is so true to its theme and is a great place to meet friends. The park has so many elements that scream firefighter that there’s nothing left to do but pretend to be some!
Address: 9190 W 84th Ave, Arvada, CO 80005
Unique Features: We loved that the monkey bars were ladders, there were bells to ring and poles to slide down. There’s three story tall covered slide that added some thrill and many different ways to climb up the structure.
What to bring: The park has a large pavilion (available to rent here) that has multiple picnic tables and provides a lot of shade. Bring along your lunch and meet some friends – it’ll be a great time!
The only downside to this park is that there aren’t any bathrooms. Plan ahead and stop on your way!
