Waggener Farm, the Best Playground in Berthoud!
A break between softball games took us on a hunt for the best playground in Berthoud, Colorado and we found it!! Waggener Farm Park playground is quite new and has something for everyone.

Waggener Farm Park Logistics
Address: 1000 Berthoud Pkwy, Berthoud, CO 80513
Bathroom: Yes, there is a bathroom building available.
Shade: There are a few shaded roofs over the play structure, however, the majority of the park in uncovered. A large pavilion is available for picnics or taking breaks from the sun.
Surface: Wood chips.
Age Recommendations: All ages! Your toddlers will love the playhouse and tractor while the older kids will love the steep slide and extra amenities, such as the skate park and basketball.
Inclusive Features: Very little, all equipment is only accessible via wood chips and there are no ramps included in the play structure.
Swings: 2 traditional swings, 2 baby swings and one chair seat.
Water Features: None.

Unique Features
Check out this play structure! It is more extensive than it looks with bridges, climbing opportunities, sensory panels and the steep slide. And when I say steep, I mean that my daughters all let out quite the scream on their first ride down. 😉
There is a bit of everything at Waggener Farm Park, leading us to decide it is the best playground in Berthoud. So many obstacle courses and races were created and always included the glider, monkey bars and climbing wall.
We visited near sunset and loved having the playground almost completely to ourselves. Don’t forget to bring along your little’s bike or scooter so they can take a ride on the wavy sidewalk below!

Not only is Waggener Farm Park home to the best playground in Berthoud, Colorado, it also has the best skate park!
If you’re looking for more ways to enjoy the park, bring along your favorite sports equipment. There is a very nice, full basketball court as well as a large open grass field for frisbee, football, or on the right weather day, kites!
