    Most Unique Playground in Colorado Mountains!

    If you’ve been to Vail, you know that it’s more of a destination than a quick stop, but if you do happen to be driving through the mountains, we’ve found a perfect playground to visit! Your kids can have a fun break from the car and you won’t even have to deal with crowded parking garages! It’s a win-win!     Trains and a Troll in Breckenridge!

    We only spent a couple hours in Breckenridge this past week, but what we found was worth the trip! The High Line Railroad Park and Train Museum was a hit among all of the kids. Not only was the playground amazing with its giant train structure and water tower slide, it also had an indoor train museum AND real trains!     The HIGHEST town playground in North America!

    The town of Alma, Colorado is registered at 10,578 ft (!!) making it the highest incorporated town in North America. So, what did I have to do? See if there was a park of course! The Alma Park & Playground sits next to Town Hall and had such beautiful mountain views. It was June and still so much snow!     Whether you live in the mountains, plan a weekend trip or are just passing through, knowing where some great playgrounds are along the way is a must when you have kids. We came across Trent Park the last time we visited Silverthorne and the girls loved it! Address: 100 Willowbrook Rd, Silverthorne, CO 80498 Recommended ages: My opinion, ages 8 and under.
