Unique Spooky Fun: Seasonal Rides at Colorado Railbike Adventures!

Did you know…?! Over 6,000 guests have experienced the unique Colorado experience of riding the railbikes at Colorado Railbike Adventures and it was recently awarded the Colorado Tourism Office’s Governor’s Award for Exemplary Community Tourism Initiative. There is no better time for you to come check it out with all of the seasonal rides planned for fall! Whether you join a Friday evening “Rails and Ales” ride with some friends, a Haunted History Ride, or a family daytime ride, you are sure to have a great time.

This article is sponsored by Colorado Railbike Adventures, your destination for historic, outdoor family adventures. Everyone from our youngest littles to our older generation gets to join the fun and pedal along on our four seat railbikes. Spectacular views are found throughout the ride!

Located in Erie, Colorado, some old-fashioned fun awaits at Colorado Railbike Adventures! They have wowed their guests since opening in May 2024 with history, scenery, and family-friendly exercise along the Boulder Valley Mine route. If you join a daytime ride, you’ll love the mountain view and peaceful vibes, and you will find nothing like the rides by lantern at night!

Haunted History Rides

Don’t miss your chance at the most unique experience of the spooky season! “Haunted History” rides explore the eerie past of Erie and Colorado’s railroads with spine-chilling cautionary tales and shadowy views. The lantern lit mile-long ride is the perfect addition to your Halloween-inspired activities!

Rails and Ales

Another fantastic addition to the lineup of rides at Colorado Railbike Adventures is the “Rails and Ales” weekly ride. A longer ride than the Haunted History ride takes you through Erie with a stop at The Handlebar Factory for some craft cider, cocktails and beer. This exclusive 21+ ride is perfect for a Friday night out with friends or a double date. The ride there provides sunset views over the mountains and the ride back is lit by lantern – a perfect way to end a long week!

Seasonal Fun at the Depot

I highly recommend planning extra time around your ride to enjoy the fun located right at the Colorado Railbike Adventures Depot! You and your family will love the 6,000 square foot turf for some football or soccer scrimmaging, a cornhole matchup and other yard games. There are beautifully covered tables to enjoy some snacks, hot apple cider, or if you’re not too cold, some ice cream!

Seasonal fall fun continues with fantastic photo opportunities, pumpkins for sale, and there is no better spot around to enjoy views of the Front Range and Flatirons.

Bring the family, throw a party, host a team building or plan a date night to enjoy time on the tracks and fun at the depot!

Thanks for joining us at Slides & Sunshine. Now it’s time to get out there and PLAY!

Don’t forget to Pin for later!
