No Fear of Heights Allowed at this Fort Collins Park!

I have to admit, this Fort Collins park caused me some confusion… I read about the brand new playground at Crescent Park on the City of Fort Collins page, but then I couldn’t find it by name on any map! Apparently, this neighborhood park is also called Maple Hill Park in some locations (like the Google Map below). Regardless of the name confusion, Crescent Park was an exciting find for our family!

Check out that high tunnel built into the play structure!

Bathroom: Yes! There is a nice bathroom building available.

Shade: Very little. The only shade available is along the building wall or under the 2-table pavilion.

Age Recommendations: 2 to 12. This is a fantastic park to take your little ones AND adventurous older kids! Younger ages will enjoy the separate play structure, swings and inclusive merry go round.

  • NOTE: There is a pond near the playground that could be dangerous to young wandering kids.

Swings: Yes! There are two baby swings, two traditional swings and a “parent and me” swing.

Water Features: None.

Unique Features of Crescent Park

I love the uniqueness of this play structure with its angled tops and wide-mouthed slide. The tall slide gives quite the thrill!

Looking for another amazing Fort Collins Park? Check out Avery Park with its tall slide and rocking raft!

My girls love playing games of tag and groundies at the park. I love that they play these because they end up truly trying out every angle of the playgrounds! These climbing features below were both unique with the multi-paneled rock wall and criss-crossed ropes!

The pictures below unfortunately do not do justice to the wow factor. This is a tunnel multiple stories above the ground! You will definitely feel like you’re flying as you climb higher and higher in the structure.

Surrounding Area Highlights

Outside of the playground, there is a large field for soccer and a full basketball court. It is also a perfect place for a peaceful walk!

Looking for another fantastic Fort Collins park? Don’t miss the area’s largest playground at Twin Silo Park!

Thanks for joining us at Slides & Sunshine! Now it’s time to get out there and PLAY!

Don’t forget to Pin for later!
