Address: 1101 Castlerock Dr, Fort Collins, CO 80521

Bathroom/Shade: This park is in an established neighorhood so it is surrounded by huge shade trees! There is a small bathroom building making this a great place to meet some friends and hang out for a while.

Avery Park Fort Collins CO Toddler Playground

Age Recommendations: All! Toddlers will love the small play structure with its monkey/elephant climb and short slides. There are also baby swings, chair and parent-and-me swing! The older, more adventurous kids will love the large play structure and I’ll explain more about why in the Unique Features section below. 🙂

Unique Features: The very first thing we noticed about this park was the slide! What makes it different from others we’ve seen? It is ONLY accessible by using their ninja warrior skills and climbing through ropes to get to the top!

Another first for us was the Adventure Raft – we loved it! We have been to so many parks and have never seen a raft like this. It was the best seesaw alternative we could’ve imagined! My girls spent a bunch of time bouncing and shaking each other around, just like they were on a true river rafting adventure!

In addition to the playground, you’ll find a full basketball court, large shaded pavilion and sandbox. There is also a small stream to the north of the playground, adding to the peacefulness of the area.

As a CSU graduate, I have always loved the town of Fort Collins and think it is great that they’ve updated a park close to campus! There are more amazing parks popping up around the town, for sure don’t leave the area without also checking out the incredible Twin Silo park!
