The play area at Berry Park is perfect for your little ones! With its easy-to-maneuver rubber surface and toddler sized panels, I would recommend it for anyone with crawlers or new walkers, as well as anyone looking for an inclusive play place. All of the equipment is nicely spaced out and will bring out the imagination in all who come to play. Keep reading to see why Berry Park should be added to your list of Colorado must visit playgrounds!

Jes is awesome! Her outcomes are incredible, be it an organized pantry, kitchen, bathroom or basement full of toys. We’ve asked for her support a couple of times now over the last year, with zero regret and a ton of gratitude. She brings an early childhood education background to her work, so those of you with small kiddos will especially appreciate her work. I also love how easy Jes is to work with. She checks in with just the right questions to ensure she’s on the right path and is doing what’s best for your family. Cannot recommend her enough!

Jes has been amazing to work with! She was great at repurposing things we already owned and kept cost in mind with her suggestions of things to buy. We’re a week out and my house is still looking great. She gave us tips for keeping things organized. She even gave us some ideas of how to get our kids involved in straightening and THEY’RE WORKING. I could go on and on. This is seriously some of the best money I’ve spent in awhile!

Age Recommendations: The playground at Berry Park is what I would consider an “all abilities” park. The equipment is low to the ground with elements for imagination and elementary-level education so toddlers and young children would be perfect.
Inclusive Features: So many things! The rubber surface makes the playground easily accessible for crawlers, walkers and those with disabilities or wheelchairs. There are many sensory panels throughout and most are low to the ground. Also included are a roller table (see more below) and playhouse.
Swings: There is 1 traditional belt swing and 1 chair swing.
Water Features: None. If you’re looking for a nearby splash pad, check out Clement Park!
Check out these amazing “After” pictures from Denver Home Organizing – no wonder they were voted Best of Mile High! At Denver Home Organizing, they do not charge by room, nor do they require a minimum number of hours. They understand that every project is different, and so you will only pay for the time you actually need.
There are so many unique features that add to the inclusivity of Berry Park and bring out the imagination in every kid that comes to play. Pictured below is such an adorable playhouse that will take “playing house” to a whole new level.
There are sensory play panels all over the playground at Berry Park! There are games, educational panels showing time and numbers, and panels to test memory and fine motor skills.
Shown below is the “Roller Table” made by Burke. I am amazed at all that went in to creating this unique, inclusive experience!
According to their website, the roller slide has “a twelve inch transfer platform and staggered, curved overhead rails to accommodate various body sizes. Users will gain strength, develop balance, coordination and motor planning while developing their vestibular systems and proprioceptive senses. The all metal design offers durability and a static-free environment where children with Cochlear implants can enjoy the experience without worry!”
There are two memorial statues installed at Berry Park. The first is the Danny Deitz Memorial, in honor of a Navy SEAL from Littleton, one of three killed during a mission in Afghanistan in 2005. The second is a memorial dedicated to the men and women that lost their lives during Operation Red Wings.
