Located near Berthoud High School, Ellen Bunyan Bein Park is a great spot to enjoy many activities! The playground has a log cabin feel with its log stairs, rocky steps and even some food and books lining the indoor shelves. In addition to the large structure and tall slide, there is also a multi-ladder monkey bar experience and swings.
**Huge safety factor â there is a fence lining the sidewalk to separate the playground from S 10th St.
For the whole family, there is a fitness obstacle course walking trail with different exercises along the way, baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, and just a short distance north are two dog parks!
Address: 115 E Indiana Ave, Berthoud, CO 80513
On a rock wall near Pioneer Park youâll find the engraving âMake the most of every moment, stop saving the best for lastâ and wow, what a reminder! Take that to heart when you visit Pioneer Park with your family. Design an obstacle course together, take turns riding the spaceship, and enjoy a picnic in the pavilion.
Want to step it up a notch? Bring along a basketball for a friendly game or roller blades to zip around the outdoor rink! Your kids will love this hidden playground and ask for the âspaceship parkâ over and over.
Address: 1000 Berthoud Pkwy, Berthoud, CO 80513
When you want the WOW factor, take your family to Waggener Farm Park! There is so much to love about this park from the farm-themed playhouse and tractor to the steep slide and everything in between. The most intense game of tag can be found through the various bridges, climbing elements, monkey bars and slides.
Are your kids not interested in the playground anymore? Thatâs ok! There is a wavy sidewalk for scooters, full size basketball court and an amazing skate park! For more details on Waggener Farm Park, visit our full review here.
With the playground located next to the Berthoud Recreation Center, take along some swimsuits and make the fun last for hours! The recently built 54,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility includes an indoor aquatics facility, gymnasium, cardio and weight training area, climbing wall and more.
