Ready for our favorite playground in Firestone?!
Address: 125 Granville Ave., Firestone, CO 80520 (This is only blocks away from Hart Park – it is worth going to both!)
Bathroom: There is a nice bathroom building that is open, with soap & sink inside!
Shade: We love this playground because it shades itself! The large canopies made almost all of the equipment pleasant, even on this 90+ degree day. There is also a shaded picnic table between the basketball and tennis courts.
Age Recommendations: This is a fantastic park to take your kiddos ages 5 to 12. They’ll love it!
When your children start screaming excitedly from the car, you know you’ve found a great playground! This play structure is massive and the fact that it shades itself makes it fun to play for a long time.
Aside from the structure, there is also this circular bar (shown below), single spinning seat and swings (2 baby, 2 regular).
Surrounding Area Highlights: There are very new looking basketball and tennis courts available at the park. Don’t forget to bring along your tennis rackets!
We were pleasantly surprised by both playgrounds in Firestone and can’t wait to see more! If you have found any hidden gems across Colorado, send us a message at slidesandsunshine@gmail.com. We’ll be so grateful!
Thanks for joining us at Slides & Sunshine! Now it’s time to get out there and PLAY!
Don’t forget to Pin for later!
