Do your kids love tall slides? You HAVE to visit Estates Park in Golden! Let Their Lights Shine at Countryside Park!
You know those moments when you see your child’s eyes go wide as their imagination kicks in? That was what we experienced the first time we went to Countryside Park in Westminster! “I’m the Captain!” “I’ll go check the lighthouse!” “Watch out for pirates!” The theme is so well done that it’s almost impossible not to get straight into character. This post may contain affiliate links and while we may earn compensation when you click on the links, it is at no additional cost to you. Sandcastles and Splash Pad in Littleton!
Just off of Belleview and Santa Fe is a wonderful patch of fun! There is Pirate’s Cove water park, Belleview Park (future post coming very soon!) and Cornerstone Park. I decided to highlight Cornerstone Park first because it had something for everyone (and it is completely free 😉 ). Address: 5150 S Windermere St, Littleton, CO 80120 Be aware that there is also a “Cornerstone Ballpark” on the north side of Belleview. The first time I went, I followed the wrong directions and it took forever to get to the correct playgound on the south side! If you aren’t sure, head to Colorado Journey mini golf and continue past until…

3 Reasons This is Our Favorite Park in Commerce City!
This park has been on our list to visit for about a year and I am so glad we can now share it with you. Turnberry Park was full of vibrant colors, created with all things flower garden and was overall the best park in Commerce City! We have already been talking about which friends live nearby so that we can go back with them (on a cooler day though 😉 ). Address: 10725 Wheeling St, Commerce City, CO 80022 Bathroom/Shade: There is a single bathroom building with running water and hand dryer! Unfortunately, there is no shade on the playground so going before it gets too hot or on…

Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park in Westminster is Darling!
I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write about the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park because it is one of our favorites! As you’ll see from the pictures below, it is filled with all kinds of unique details that young kids will love. Address: 10765 Moore St, Westminster, CO 80021 Bathroom/Shade: Unfortunately, no bathroom at the park or close by so plan accordingly. There is some shade along the sides of the park and canopies over the picnic tables, however, all of the playground equipment is uncovered and can get hot. Ninja Warrior Fans, Obstacles Await in Windsor!
The BRAND NEW Village East Park just opened in Windsor, Colorado and it is amazing! Everything about it screams obstacles, ninja skills and adventure. My girls are always mesmerized by episodes of American Ninja Warrior so this was a dream come true! **This park is so new that it doesn’t show up by name in Google Maps yet so make sure you use the address below and note that there are no bathrooms. Address: 865 Park Edge Circle, Windsor, CO 80550 Age Recommendations: 5+. There are a few options for smaller children (swings, small slide, natural play features), but overall, I would recommend this park for kids at least 5…

Snow Cones, Splash Pad and Fun in Northglenn!
Just off of I-25 and 120th, you’ll find E.B. Rains Jr Memorial Park. The playground is large with areas for toddlers and big kids, a sand pit and a lot of room for hanging out. We’ve been to this park a couple times now and, unfortunately, every time it has been pretty crowded (it’s a popular spot for summer camp groups). My advice is to choose a central spot to leave your snacks & drinks and then keep a close eye on your kiddos. Anyone that listens to me talk about parks knows that I’ll always be on the lookout for restrooms. How that isn’t a requirement for all large…
