Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park in Westminster is Darling!
I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write about the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park because it is one of our favorites! As you’ll see from the pictures below, it is filled with all kinds of unique details that young kids will love. Climb the Moon at Star Meadows Park in Erie!
For my science loving 8 year old, this was high on her list to visit once she heard it had a moon theme! The girls loved that they could try climbing the moon, there were moon rocks to spin and a statue near the benches even showed the different phases of the moon. They also thought it was fun following the spiral path to be a human sundial! There was no shade on the playground but there is a large section of covered tables if you need a break from the sun. Dual Zipline for the Win in Thornton!
If you live anywhere near Thornton, or even if you don’t, you have got to check out Amber Creek Park! It was recommended to me by a friend that lives in that area and she wasn’t kidding when she said it was amazing! Favorite park in Brighton!
The girls and I took a day trip to Brighton, CO and visited 5 parks – it was a bit ambitious for sure! After all was said and done though, a clear favorite was shared by us all… Brighton Park is farm-themed and sits just north of the Brighton Recreation Center. Northern Lights Park, For All the Baseball Fans in Thornton!
Baseball lovers of Colorado, let me introduce you to Northern Lights park! This playground is located in Thornton at 13800 York St, Thornton, CO 80241 and is surrounded by the Northern Lights ball fields. Recommended Ages: ALL! We loved this park because there really was something for everyone. (Disclaimer: the sign says it was designed for kids ages 5 to 12, however almost all of the kids there were under 5 and having a great time.)
