What do you think of our list so far? There are even more playgrounds in Arvada that would’ve made a top 20 list so stay tuned for more reviews in the future!

Who wouldn’t love this bright red, firefighter themed playground?! The Arvada Volunteer Fire Fighters Park is absolutely wonderful with its fire engine red equipment and tall slides! Since little touches make all the difference, we love that there are bells to clang, ladder monkey bars and a fire truck to drive. Your child will instantly be ready to be “savers”, as my five year old calls them. 😉

Unfortunately, because of COVID restrictions and the high volume of families normally in attendance, we have not made it to Ralston Central Park this year. However, it is definitely worth the mention and on our list for next year when the splash pad opens! Our recommendation is to arrive early to get a central table. That way you can keep eyes on all areas of the park and be close to the fun!
Archery Games Denver introduced Nerf Wars in 2020, and it’s quickly become a local favorite for Nerf Battles in Denver! Nerf Wars is a perfect group activity, a fun night out with family/friends, or a birthday party!

Whoa, what a slide! Check out the enormous play structure at Memorial Park compared to my five year old! This park is built for older ages (5 to 12) providing high feats and challenging climbs. In addition to the playground, you’ll find a skate park and the Johnny Roberts Memorial disc golf course.

After growing up just a couple blocks away, I am amazed at what Ralston Valley Park is now! This space-themed playground will excite all ages with its moon rover for toddlers and gigantic slide structure. Not only is there a tall slide, it is a challenge to get there, only accessible by weaving through a rope maze! If you’re also looking to be part of the fun, come prepared to get a little exercise in at the fitness park.

I have recommended Clear Creek Valley Park more times than I can count! There is a fitness park right by the parking lot and the playground is just a short walk down the path. We love it because of the garden themed toddler park (complete with chicken coop!), water play area and large treehouse play structure. Did I mention it also has a long zipline!?
With its location right off of I-76 and Sheridan, it is the perfect place for friends across Colorado to meet!
