Watch your child be transported straight to Neverland when visiting Westminster Center Park and it’s London-themed playground! The Thames River, Tower of London and Big Ben are true to the London theme, but you’ll also see imaginations run wild with the pirate ship and awaiting crocodile. Your children will be enchanted as they spot Peter Pan in the playhouse and pretend to fly by the second star to the right and straight on ’til morning!

The photo above shows the eye-catching play structure (colors mirroring the snow-capped mountains) and the theme runs throughout down to the colorful rubber surfacing of rivers and trails.

In 1966, the land where Kanemoto Park currently sits was donated to the City of Longmont by the Kanemoto family. The seven-acre park was named after the patriarch Goroku Kanemoto (1882-1935) and is home to a beautiful Japanese-themed play area. The playground itself has a torii (Japanese archway) at the entrance and the rubber surfacing is covered with Koi fish and cherry blossoms. The Tower of Compassion (shown above) is five stories tall representing themes of Love, Empathy, Understanding, Gratitude, and Giving Selflessly. It is a destination to be enjoyed by all.
