This Slide (and View) Will Take Your Breath Away!
Do your kids love tall slides? You HAVE to visit Estates Park in Golden! This quiet, neighborhood park that overlooks Table Mesa and the town below has one of the tallest slides we’ve seen in Colorado. Ellsworth Dr., Golden, CO 80401 Bathroom/Shade: There is a portable bathroom next to the parking lot. I wish there was a way to have more shade over the actual playground, but at least this park had some large trees and shaded picnic tables along the…

Musical Fun at the New & Improved Clement Park!
When we heard that there was a completely redone park in Littleton, of course we had to visit! Oh my goodness, it was amazing! It is a huge playground and was really crowded for a Wednesday morning, yet I felt calm. How can you not feel at peace at such a gorgeous location overlooking Johnson Reservoir with an incredible view of the Colorado mountains?! This post may contain affiliate links and while we may earn compensation when you click on the links, it is at no additional cost to you. Address: 7306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123 Bathroom/Shade: This park was built for people to stay a while so…

Most Unique Playground in Colorado Mountains!
If you’ve been to Vail, you know that it’s more of a destination than a quick stop, but if you do happen to be driving through the mountains, we’ve found a perfect playground to visit! Your kids can have a fun break from the car and you won’t even have to deal with crowded parking garages! It’s a win-win! The park is called Red Sandstone Park and has a style all its own with giant stick figures and clubhouse feel. After a little research, we found that the town of Vail works with artists to create completely unique parks! We visited two other parks while we were in town and…

Let Their Lights Shine at Countryside Park!
You know those moments when you see your child’s eyes go wide as their imagination kicks in? That was what we experienced the first time we went to Countryside Park in Westminster! “I’m the Captain!” “I’ll go check the lighthouse!” “Watch out for pirates!” The theme is so well done that it’s almost impossible not to get straight into character. This post may contain affiliate links and while we may earn compensation when you click on the links, it is at no additional cost to you. Address: 10470 Oak St, Broomfield, CO 80021 This will take you to the Countryside Pool parking lot. The actual playground is a little walk…

Twin Silo Park, A Farm-themed Playground Like No Other!
If you haven’t been to Fort Collins lately, I am going to show you why your kids will be begging for a trip there soon! Twin Silo Park is INCREDIBLE! I am calling it farm-themed because there are silos and a giant barn structure but that is really where the similarities end. We had never seen a park like this! This post may contain affiliate links and while we may earn compensation when you click on the links, it is at no additional cost to you. Address: 5552-5564 Ziegler Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80528 Bathroom/Shade: There is a well kept, large bathroom building as well as water fountains. The kids…

I have been waiting for the perfect time to visit “Re-Imagine Play” at Paco Sanchez park in Denver, Colorado and yesterday was the day! Just minutes from downtown, extremely close to Mile High Stadium, this is an incredible playground (and best news ever, they’re building it out even more!) Thank you to Denver Parks and Recreation, PCL Construction and Landscape Structures for creating this completely unique place for all to enjoy! Fly with Peter Pan in Westminster!
Any time I’ve asked a group about parks to visit, Westminster Center Park or “The Peter Pan Park” comes up. Because of its easy to find location, splash park and fun theme, it’s a favorite among many. I love the attention to detail, making this truly feel like London and the world of Peter Pan. Address: 4801 W 92nd Ave, Westminster, CO 80031 Bathroom/Shade: There is a bathroom building so bring along a lunch and stay for a while. Limited shade over the play structures but there is more under pavilions and nearby trees. This post may contain affiliate links and while we may earn compensation when you click on…

Sandcastles and Splash Pad in Littleton!
Just off of Belleview and Santa Fe is a wonderful patch of fun! There is Pirate’s Cove water park, Belleview Park (future post coming very soon!) and Cornerstone Park. I decided to highlight Cornerstone Park first because it had something for everyone (and it is completely free ๐ ). Address: 5150 S Windermere St, Littleton, CO 80120 Be aware that there is also a “Cornerstone Ballpark” on the north side of Belleview. The first time I went, I followed the wrong directions and it took forever to get to the correct playgound on the south side! If you aren’t sure, head to Colorado Journey mini golf and continue past until…

3 Reasons This is Our Favorite Park in Commerce City!
This park has been on our list to visit for about a year and I am so glad we can now share it with you. Turnberry Park was full of vibrant colors, created with all things flower garden and was overall the best park in Commerce City! We have already been talking about which friends live nearby so that we can go back with them (on a cooler day though ๐ ). Address: 10725 Wheeling St, Commerce City, CO 80022 Bathroom/Shade: There is a single bathroom building with running water and hand dryer! Unfortunately, there is no shade on the playground so going before it gets too hot or on…
