Pirate & Princess Dreams Come True at Chaucer Park

Tucked into a neighborhood near The Meadows Golf Club, you will find Chaucer Park and its adorable medieval-themed playground! You might as well bring along a princess dress and pirate hat because your children will be instantly transformed into character. We love themed parks that inspire imaginative play and role playing!

Chaucer Park Logistics

Address: 10558 W. Vista View Dr., Littleton, CO 80127

Bathroom: Unfortunately, none available.

Shade: Yes, there are some great shade trees near the playground. There is also a pavilion, however no tables underneath.

Age Recommendations: 2 to 10. The ship structure is perfect for the younger ages and they will love the extra details like the ship steering wheel and telescope. Older children will like the castle and monkey bars, however, tunnels are the only way to the high slide and will be tough for those on the taller side.

There are baby swings, regular swings and a tire swing!

Unique Features of Chaucer Park

If you’ve been following our park adventures for a while, you know that we LOVE scavenger hunts! Well, we are happy to report that Chaucer Park has not one, but TWO scavenger hunts! The first two pictures below show the symbols to search for and the third shows you what they look like. It is a blast searching with the kids!

I’m not sure if I can really call these monkey bars… My oldest loves the complex circle pattern of these bars. They give a bit more of a challenge with the different heights and curves.

The entire playground at Littleton’s Chaucer Park is unique with its dedication to the medieval theme. You will find castle walls, dragon mouthed slides, ship cannons, it is incredibly well done.

Looking for another amazing park to visit nearby? Don’t miss our favorite in Littleton, Clement Park! It was completely redone in 2019 as an inclusive playground with a music theater theme – your kids will love it!

Thanks for joining us at Slides & Sunshine! Now it’s time to get out there and PLAY!

Don’t forget to Pin for later!
