Discover these 4 Hidden Gem Playgrounds in Broomfield!

We often hear about the same parks over and over, but these four playgrounds in Broomfield are wonderful and will be a hit with your littles! Whether they want the excitement of a zipline, a hideout in the tower, or the perfect playhouse, there is something for everyone here. Keep reading to find out what each of these four Broomfield playgrounds has to offer.

Cottonwood Park

Address: 3351 Westlake Dr, Broomfield, CO 80020

Hidden within a neighborhood, Cottonwood Park requires a short walk and it will be worth it. Not a large playground, however, the equipment chosen is unique and provide a great spot for multiple ages to play together. The play structure is a wide tower with two levels, two slides and many climbing opportunities. There is also a zipline, seated spinner and swings!

Broomfield Community Park – Ballfields Playground

Address: 300 Spader Way, Broomfield, CO 80020

Did you know there are TWO playgrounds at Broomfield Community Park? The one I’m referencing here is next to the Broomfield Community Ball Fields off of Spader Way, just south of the Broomfield Aquatic Bay parking lot. This playground has a large structure with high slides, monkey bars, spinners…perfect for a game of tag! In addition to what is shown in the image below, there are swings, covered table, and the nearby Broomfield Community Park off of Descombes Dr.

Lac Amora Park

Address: Miramonte Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020

There are a couple of reasons that we enjoyed a stop at Lac Amora Park in Broomfield. First, the adorable playhouse! We loved the height of the playhouse, allowing older kids the opportunity to play, as well as the “extras” like the stovetop and windows to the outside. Second, the play structure was wonderful for younger ages with a small obstacle course attached. And finally, the VIEW! There is an incredible view of the mountains just across the street making it a peaceful setting to enjoy while the kids play.

Broadlands East Park

Address: 3100 Shannon Dr, Broomfield, CO 80023

While we have a great time at the large playgrounds, I love smaller playgrounds more. Being able to see all of my children at any time makes it so much nicer! I can actually have conversations with other parents while keeping an eye out. Broadlands East is a cute little playground with a cool tower structure and friendship swing – it is perfect for a quick stop or meeting a friend!
