Fairgrounds Park has a Splash Pad, Extra Playground and More!
I was blown away on our visit to Fairgrounds Park this summer! I knew that it had a splash pad, but I had no idea that we’d find playgrounds, a fitness zone, batting cages…the list goes on and on as you’ll see below. Plan on spending hours in the area and don’t forget your swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and water! NOTE: This is a large park with a running river and splash pad so it is not a park that you can just let your kids go play. You will need to keep eyes on kids of all ages and experience it together, safely. This post may contain affiliate links and…

Experience Fantastic Views from this Playground in Golden!
A playground in Golden with tall slides and incredible views?! You might be thinking about another playground we bring up often, Estates Park (link below), but not this time. You will love the views, however it is very close to I-70 so it doesn’t have the peacefulness of Estates Park. Sandstone Ranch: Adventure Playground and Wheels Park
Upon entering Sandstone Ranch Park, you are greeted with a sign sharing that it is an “Adventure Playground and Wheels Park”. What a fun sounding experience ahead! Our first few times visiting Sandstone Ranch were for our school’s 100 Mile Club. The 0.7 mile path was perfect to get in some extra miles, but it was the promise of the “cow and turtle playground” that got the girls moving. As you’ll see below, the park is not only home to traditional playground equipment, it also has a farm themed toddler area, splash pad and skate park!
