Favorite park in Brighton!
The girls and I took a day trip to Brighton, CO and visited 5 parks – it was a bit ambitious for sure! After all was said and done though, a clear favorite was shared by us all… Brighton Park is farm-themed and sits just north of the Brighton Recreation Center. The girls were in awe as we drove up and I had to pull them away when it was time to leave! Address: 555 North 11th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601 Recommended Ages: All! Any kid that enjoys playgrounds will find something here. The ramps and adorable farm animals make it perfect for the littles, and the three story slides…

Treasure to be found in Silverthorne!
Whether you live in the mountains, plan a weekend trip or are just passing through, knowing where some great playgrounds are along the way is a must when you have kids. We came across Trent Park the last time we visited Silverthorne and the girls loved it! Address: 100 Willowbrook Rd, Silverthorne, CO 80498 Recommended ages: My opinion, ages 8 and under. This is an adorable structure but doesn’t have many thrills for the older kids. Unique Features: The Pirate theme to this park was well done complete with a ship, telescope, and treasure map. The feature that continues to be our favorite at a lot of newer parks though…

The park has so many elements that scream firefighter that there’s nothing left to do but pretend to be some! Address: 9190 W 84th Ave, Arvada, CO 80005 Unique Features: We loved that the monkey bars were ladders, there were bells to ring and poles to slide down. There’s a three story tall covered slide that added some thrill and many different ways to climb up the structure. What to bring: The park has a large pavilion (available to rent here) that has…

3…2…1…Blast Off at Quail Crossing Park in Westminster!
For all of your little future astronauts, you have got to make a quick trip to Westminster, Colorado! Quail Crossing Park is a small playground in a neighborhood just off of 136th & Huron, but it will bring your kiddos so much joy! WHERE IS IT?? First off, I will mention that I have found THREE different addresses for this park! The most accurate (that I got from standing right where you park) is here.
