Whether you live in the mountains, plan a weekend trip or are just passing through, knowing where some great playgrounds are along the way is a must when you have kids. We came across Trent Park the last time we visited Silverthorne and the girls loved it!
Address: 100 Willowbrook Rd, Silverthorne, CO 80498
Recommended ages: My opinion, ages 8 and under. This is an adorable structure but doesn’t have many thrills for the older kids.
Unique Features: The Pirate theme to this park was well done complete with a ship, telescope, and treasure map. The feature that continues to be our favorite at a lot of newer parks though was the scavenger hunt, and that couldn’t have fit better with the ‘searching for treasure’ games they were making up!
Next to the park were some tennis courts (and were even part of the scavenger hunt!) and the scenery surrounding Silverthorne is breathtaking.
Tip for the adults…don’t miss the Outlet Malls while you’re in town! We are huge fans of the Osh Kosh B’gosh store and always seem to go right around Back to School sales. There are a lot of great brands represented so it’s worth the stop!
