Talk about a trip down memory lane! I grew up one block from Ralston Valley Park and used to ride my bike there often with my sister and friends. Well, things have changed and this was definitely not that same playground! Nestled in the middle of the Ralston Valley Creek trail, you will find this renovated, space-themed playground that takes your breath away! With so many picnic tables, shaded play areas, and bike/walking path, your entire family will enjoy this trip to Arvada.

Address: W 69th Place & Cole Court, Arvada, CO 80004 (I’ve submitted a change to Google Maps because it doesn’t show exactly where the playground is located. You can park at the intersection listed or in the culdesac of Coors St at 68th.)
Bathroom/Shade: This playground is surrounded by tall mature trees so this is a great place to take the kids whether it is hot or chilly. Unfortunately no restroom available so plan accordingly. 😉
Age Recommendations: All! The young ones will enjoy the merry go round, baby swings and toddler (moon rover) play structure. The older kids will love the super tall slides!
Unique Features: The eye-catcher of this park is absolutely the tall slide structure and it doesn’t disappoint! There is one open slide that kids can climb to via ladder, however, the two covered spiral slides are only accessible by climbing through a rope maze making it quite the challenge.
This is also a great park to get in some exercise. Pull ups, push ups, climbing…get out there and play too!
Congratulations to the Town of Arvada and another great park renovation! Don’t miss these other amazing parks while you’re in the area… https://slidesandsunshine.com/tag/arvada/ . Let us know your favorite in the comments below!
