After visiting over 70 Colorado playgrounds in 2019, selecting the top 10 was quite the task! I asked for help from each of my daughters, reviewed our past blog posts, until finally coming up with this list. Have you visited these incredible playgrounds? We have some beautiful weather coming soon, the perfect day trip destinations are listed below!

#10 Estates Park – Golden

What can I say, this slide had to make the list! Golden’s Estates Park wowed us all with its play structure (just look at its size compared to my daughter on the stairs!) and incredible views.

#9 Avery Park – Fort Collins

Not too far from the Colorado State University campus, you will find Avery Park. With its bright orange and green structures and jungle theme, your children will be jumping at the chance to go play. This is the only park we’ve found with a bouncing raft adventure, young imaginations will go wild!

#8 Ralston Valley Park – Arvada

This brand new playground in Arvada just opened in October 2019 and it did not disappoint! Ralston Valley park was designed with a space theme, complete with moon rover, and has two slides only accessible by climbing through a rope maze.

#7 Paco Sanchez Park – Denver

Paco Sanchez park, just minutes from Mile High Stadium, was a sight to be seen. The 1950’s inspired microphone, which gives tribute to the park’s namesake, is filled with ropes, platforms, obstacles and a slide. This playground was incredible, however, it isn’t higher on the list because it is easy to lose sight of your kids if they come out a different side of the structure.
