The Arvada Volunteer Fire Fighters Park is one of our favorites because it is so true to its theme and is a great place to meet friends. The park has so many elements that scream firefighter that there’s nothing left to do but pretend to be some!
Address: 9190 W 84th Ave, Arvada, CO 80005
Unique Features: We loved that the monkey bars were ladders, there were bells to ring and poles to slide down. There’s a three story tall covered slide that added some thrill and many different ways to climb up the structure.
What to bring: The park has a large pavilion (available to rent here) that has multiple picnic tables and provides a lot of shade. Bring along your lunch and meet some friends – it’ll be a great time!
The only downside to this park is that there aren’t any bathrooms. Plan ahead and stop on your way!
