Here’s Why You Need to Visit Dillon Before Aug 9th!

Did you know that something special is going on in Dillon, Colorado this summer? It’s called The Playhouse Project!

Parents of young playful kids, you will want to take them to see this!! Here are full details – the exhibits are only on display until August 9th, 2019. https://playhouseprojects.org/

(If you’re reading this after Aug 9th, I still recommend heading to the Dillon Marina Park anytime! There are pictures below showing the permanent parts of the playground 😉 )

Address: Dillon Marina Park 306 W Lodgepole St, Dillon, CO 80435

Incredible obstacle-filled playhouse built by PCL Construction!

” The Playhouse Project is a public art exhibit taking place at Dillon Marina Park in the Town of Dillon. Playhouses built by local builders will be on display at Dillon Marina Park for children to explore for six weeks. The houses will then be sold to the highest online bidder. The proceeds from the auction will go to the Family and Intercultural Resource Center’s affordable housing programs. ” https://playhouseprojects.org

A total of 5 extremely cool playhouses are included in the exhibit.

My girls wanted to bring every single one of the playhouses home with us. Such an incredible fundraiser for the community – I hope this is the start of similar projects across the state!

Dillon Marina Park

The permanent playground at Dillon Marina is a great destination all summer long. The Colorado mountain views and Dillon Reservoir are absolutely beautiful for you to enjoy while the kids play.

I could hang out here all day looking at those mountains!
Huge sandbox so bring along your bucket & shovel!

Benches surround the park and you are also right next to a gorgeous pavilion and amphitheater. There’s a large bathroom building available making the Dillon Marina a perfect location to take a picnic and enjoy some family time!

What activities are you using to fill the remainder of summer break? Comment below! And if you’ve already been to the Playhouse Project, we’d love to hear which playhouse was your favorite. Thank you and have fun!
