No Fear of Heights Allowed at this Fort Collins Park!

I have to admit, this Fort Collins park caused me some confusion… I read about the brand new playground at Crescent Park on the City of Fort Collins page, but then I couldn’t find it by name on any map! Apparently, this neighborhood park is also called Maple Hill Park in some locations (like the Google Map below). Regardless of the name confusion, Crescent Park was an exciting find for our family!

Check out that high tunnel built into the play structure!

  • NOTE: There is a pond near the playground that could be dangerous to young wandering kids.

Swings: Yes! There are two baby swings, two traditional swings and a “parent and me” swing.

Water Features: None.

Unique Features of Crescent Park

I love the uniqueness of this play structure with its angled tops and wide-mouthed slide. The tall slide gives quite the thrill!

My girls love playing games of tag and groundies at the park. I love that they play these because they end up truly trying out every angle of the playgrounds! These climbing features below were both unique with the multi-paneled rock wall and criss-crossed ropes!

The pictures below unfortunately do not do justice to the wow factor. This is a tunnel multiple stories above the ground! You will definitely feel like you’re flying as you climb higher and higher in the structure.

Surrounding Area Highlights

Outside of the playground, there is a large field for soccer and a full basketball court. It is also a perfect place for a peaceful walk!
