Here’s Why You Should Visit this Park in Englewood!

If the slides alone don’t make you want to visit Jason Park in Englewood, keep reading to see why else we recommend it. Between the giant trees that provide a beautiful spot to picnic and the play area for all ages, you and your family will each find a reason you love it too. You can even bring along your pup as this is also home to one of only a few off-leash dog areas! (PS If you aren’t excited about dogs off leash, the playground is separated from it and we didn’t encounter any in the play area. 😉 ) There are more details about this in the Surrounding Area Highlights section below.

Bathroom: Yes, however, there was no door to the restroom building and no stall doors…

Shade: See above to see the giant shade tree between the basketball court and playground! There were many trees nearby providing great picnic spots, but most of the actual playground was uncovered.

Surface: Wood chips.

Age Recommendations: All! The older kids will love the tall slides for sure. Younger children have a separate play structure and there are also swings, spinners and a sandbox!

Swings: 1 disc swing, 2 traditional swings and 2 baby swings.

Water Features: None.

Unique Features of Jason Park

The giant play structure is unique for Englewood and will provide thrills and so much laughter! In addition, there are separate play elements including a tight rope to walk across, balance steps and low rope net.

Surrounding Area Highlights

There is a full basketball court (in great shape), practice baseball field and a large amount of green space. Jason Park in Englewood is also a designated “Off Leash Dog Park” so you’re likely to see dogs racing across the field. For hours and specific off-leash rules, visit this website.
