Saturday, April 15th, 2023 was our first “Park Day for a Cause”. We met at Erie Community Park because of it’s amazing amenities (three playgrounds, bike pump track, skate park and basketball courts). If you haven’t seen the latest updates, I suggest adding this on your summer bucket list!
Friends and family from near and far came by to play and bring an item to donate to Mile High United Way’s “Women United Village“. This event will take place on May 20th and will provide local families with essential baby and toddler care items. For more information on this event, visit the Mile High United Way website here.
Unfortunately, it was one of the coldest days of the month, and we even experienced a short snowstorm, but it was a success regardless.
Donations of diapers, sippy cups, bottles, baby clothing, hygiene products, educational toys and more were collected throughout our “Park Day for a Cause”.
Thank you so much to all who came and brought a donation. We appreciate you and can’t wait for our next Slides and Sunshine gathering!
