Upon entering Sandstone Ranch Park, you are greeted with a sign sharing that it is an “Adventure Playground and Wheels Park”. What a fun sounding experience ahead!
Our first few times visiting Sandstone Ranch were for our school’s 100 Mile Club. The 0.7 mile path was perfect to get in some extra miles, but it was the promise of the “cow and turtle playground” that got the girls moving. As you’ll see below, the park is not only home to traditional playground equipment, it also has a farm themed toddler area, splash pad and skate park!

This shaded, train-themed playground is a must visit! Find the address and full review of Collyer Park here.
The playground at Sandstone Ranch is spread across a large area. The more traditional playground equipment stands out with its nature theme and tall twisty slide. There are many ways to climb up, giving it a treehouse feel!
Also at the playground, you’ll find a large rope pyramid to weave your way through and a sandbox complete with turtle. We love that there is the sandy beach next to the fish and lily pad filled stream!
At the beginning I said this was also a “Wheels Park” and here’s why – it has a large skate park! Your older kids will love the giant space to practice their skills.
