Arista Sensory Park Provides Inclusive Play for All Abilities!
I get asked often about parks that are good for toddlers and I always go toward inclusive playgrounds such as Arista Sensory Park in Broomfield. This playground was developed in part with the Children’s Hospital Therapy Clinic for its patients, their families and the community. There are many inclusive features allowing kids of all ages and abilities to play, including ramps, sensory features, accessible swings and merry go round. Arista Sensory Park is an asset to the whole community and your kids will love it! This inclusive playground review is sponsored by our friends at Parent Possible. This Denver based non-profit oversees home visiting and parent engagement programs to ensure…

Addenbrooke Park is Perfect for Play, Fitness and Scenery!
I felt instantly peaceful when we arrived at Addenbrooke Park! You see the lake and trees before you spot the playground and, even with the winter leaf-less trees, it was beautiful. Grab your family, take along a picnic (watch for the geese), and everyone will find something they enjoy! This Unique Denver Playground Can’t Be Missed!
Globeville Landing Park has been on my list for a while as a Denver playground that I must visit. Time and time again, I was tagged in a picture or sent a link and this past weekend, I was finally able to go! We usually visit playgrounds pretty quickly so that we can visit more than one in an area, but this time the kids just kept asking to “stay a little longer”. There was something for everyone at Globeville Landing, from a separate toddler area to a big kid obstacle structure to a natural-themed play area. To make our visit even better, we tried out Vroom, a FREE app…

Volley Park, a “Hidden Gem” Playground in Brighton!
One reason I love what I do is that I can share unknown parks that you wouldn’t find otherwise! Volley Park is one of those hidden gems. It is located in the Brighton Crossings neighborhood, however, if you look for it on a map or through a search engine, it practically doesn’t exist! I’m sharing it here because I took my kids, and some extra playground testers ;), and we had a great time. Did I mention it has a scavenger hunt?! Experience Fantastic Views from this Playground in Golden!
A playground in Golden with tall slides and incredible views?! You might be thinking about another playground we bring up often, Estates Park (link below), but not this time. Golden Heights Park is another fantastic playground! From the top of the slide, your kids will feel like they’re on top of the world. You will love the views, however it is very close to I-70 so it doesn’t have the peacefulness of Estates Park. Brand New Playground at Denver’s James A. Bible Park!
Saturday, November 20th marked the Grand Re-opening of Denver’s Bible Park and its new playground! To say every kid there was excited would be quite the understatement. The large net structure, tall towers and so many other fun activities had everyone running from one thing to the next. As one of Denver’s Regional parks, I’m sure this will be a highly visited playground. And a tip, make sure to scroll to the bottom of this article to see why you should pack up their scooters for your next visit! I had a sad kid that she couldn’t enjoy the extra addition to the playground. 😉 This post may contain affiliate…

Denver’s City Park Playground Grand Re-Opening!
Today marks the grand re-opening of the Dustin Redd Playground at Denver’s City Park! The beloved castle theme runs through with custom equipment, complete with a tall castle tower and large climbable dragon. It has a different feel from the previous playground style, however, I think the kids will love the updates! There are also many additions adding to the inclusiveness and overall accessibility of the playground creating a safe space for all ages and abilities. Peaceful Pond and Fantastic Playground at Sterne Park in Littleton!
Sterne Park in Littleton, Colorado is a hidden gem, just east of the intersection of Bowles and Santa Fe! I love all of the trees, green space and pond to separate from the busyness of the area. The playground itself is wonderful with adorable pieces that set it apart, like the “Sterne Express”, triple slide and lady bug bouncer. I can’t wait to hear what you think when you visit!
