You will find this fire engine red playground in Arvada, just blocks from jungle-themed Rainbow East park (#5 on our list). Your kids will be transported right into public service as they drive the firetruck, ring the bells and hang from the ladder! I can’t forget to mention that there is also a three story high slide to add some thrill.

As my children call it, the “chicken park” is wonderful! Built on the Nuoci family farm land, Silver Creek Park in Lafayette will delight all ages. There is a painted chicken and egg scavenger hunt, rope obstacle course and a long zipline. You’ll also find a water feature and creek during the summer, perfect to help cool down on those hot days!

Where are all the little baseball fans? They will LOVE Northern Lights park in Thornton! From above, you can see that the rubber flooring is in the shape of a baseball mitt (with a baseball spinner) and giant baseball. The playground is inclusive for all with ramps throughout and sensory games to play. Don’t forget to take along your bat and glove because that’s where you’ll find Larry Walker field!

The giant xylophone, drums and organ pipes bring the musical theater to life at Clement Park in Littleton. This is a fantastic park to meet friends as it has many features accessible for all, including our favorite feature, the We Go Round! There are climbing featues and a ninja warrior style obstacle course making this a top favorite in our family!

This vintage microphone stands tall in a Denver neighborhood as the centerpiece to Paco Sanchez Park. The park was designed in honor of Radio Broadcaster and Colorado House Representative, Paco Sanchez. The microphone is filled with rope/climbing obstacles and a spiral slide, definitely the favorite feature for us. I’m excited to say that what we saw was only part 1 of the construction, there is so much more to come!
